Actor Zoe Saldana, who played the role of Gamora in the \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d films, believes the characters from the popular franchise under Marvel Studios should be brought back. Saldana first portrayed Gamora, an adopted daughter of Thanos and the last of her species, in 2014\u2019s \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy.\u201d She further appeared in \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy Vol 2\u201d (2017), \u201cAvengers: Infinity War\u201d (2018), \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d (2019) and last year\u2019s \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor said she would be \u201cthe first one\u201d to celebrate when the \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. \u201cI would think it would be a huge loss for Marvel if they didn\u2019t find a way to bring back \u2018The Guardians of the Galaxy\u2019. It\u2019s just such a fan-favourite group of misfits, you know? And then at the helm, they had a voice like (director) James Gunn\u2019s writing \u2013 which is just so marvelous for and very specific for this genre. And it\u2019s so great for this genre as well,\u201d Saldana said on the \u201cThe Discourse\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n
About her reprising the character of Gamora, she said: \u201cSo far, I think that (Gamora is done) for me.
