I\u2019m like, \u2018All I need is a hunchback.'\u201d A year later, she informed The Sun that aside from rectifying the botched procedure, she had decided against any further facelifts to avoid a repeat. The family\u2019s true sentiments on the matter emerged in Episode 2 of \u201cThe Osbournes Podcast,\u201d and unsurprisingly, none of them were convinced. Jack, in particular, couldn\u2019t help but point out that Sharon had a well-regulated schedule of sorts when it came to her surgeries.<\/p>\n
Jack\u2019s perspective? He likened his mother\u2019s approach to appearances to how most people treat car maintenance. Fortunately for him, it seemed that Sharon was in agreement with the cheeky yet amusing comparison he made.<\/p>\n
Just a few months after Sharon had stated to The Sun that she was finished with facelifts, her son playfully joked on the family podcast that, as far as he knew, \u201cI thought you had, like, a two or three-year, like, tune-up.\u201d Cue laughter from Sharon \u2014 but the good-natured ribbing didn\u2019t end there. \u201cIt\u2019s like a car \u2026 Every 5,000 miles, mom goes in for a tune-up,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Jack\u2019s observation wasn\u2019t entirely off-base. Sharon\u2019s declaration in 2023 about quitting plastic surgery is just the latest in a series of statements about giving it up for good. In 2012, she told her co-hosts on \u201cThe Talk\u201d that she wouldn\u2019t undergo surgery again after seeing photos of herself where she felt she had gone too far (via HuffPost). Then, in 2019, she did a complete turnaround on the show, expressing her excitement about scheduling another facelift. In 2021, she went under the knife for the pivotal facelift that would lead her to swear it off once again \u2014 but it seems she\u2019s already reconsidering the idea.<\/p>\n
Following Jack\u2019s playful teasing, Sharon not only concurred with his car analogy but hinted that she wouldn\u2019t be opposed to the idea in the future if she felt inclined. However, she quipped that halting the aging process entirely wasn\u2019t something she was particularly keen on. \u201cIt\u2019s too late for me. I\u2019ll be f**king 75,\u201d she lamented.<\/p>\n
Jack Osbourne\u2019s remarks on \u201cThe Osbournes Podcast\u201d weren\u2019t the first time he commented on his mother\u2019s dedication to the cause. In fact, back in 2013, after Sharon made a joke about a certain procedure in an interview on \u201cThe Graham Norton Show,\u201d he mentioned on SiriusXM Entertainment that he intended to discuss it with her.<\/p>\n
He playfully noted that he would do so in person to prevent any evasive tactics from his mother. And, he pointed out, he had one particularly potent card up his sleeve: Involving her grandchildren and reminding Sharon that they would eventually have access to the clips. Perhaps that specific plan of action had an impact \u2014 or perhaps Sharon caught wind of Jack\u2019s interview and decided to put a stop to her son\u2019s jests. Just days after it aired, Sharon revealed in an interview on \u201cThe Howard Stern Show\u201d that her remarks on the topic were all in good fun. Sharon also emphasized that her health issues made it unlikely she\u2019d pursue anything of the sort. While that may be the case, she\u2019s also reversed her \u201cno more surgery\u201d declarations in the past.<\/p>\n
