Actress-model Emily Ratajkowski turned to the cosmetic injectable in an attempt to defy ageing and joked that she can still \u201cmove (her) face\u201d but is not shy about trying what is out there when it comes to certain procedures to maintain her looks. \u201cI get Botox. My face still moves, which I am quite proud of, but I\u2019m not scared to use what\u2019s out there,\u201d she told Glamour UK.<\/p>\n
Ratajkowski studied fashion at UCLA before dropping out to pursue modelling full-time but said that she had no specific ambition to be famous in the first place and simply thought she was following in the footsteps of her parents, both of whom work in creative industries, reports aceshowbiz.com.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI didn\u2019t want to be famous. I had no plans. I wasn\u2019t thinking about a career, I was thinking about saving money. But the saving money was to be able to do what I actually wanted to do, which was make things, basically.\u201d \u201cI saw my parents, they are both creatives, but they had day jobs, so that was sort of how I saw life working.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite being on the cover of several men\u2019s magazines, Emily \u2013 who has two-year-old son Sylvester with ex-parter Sebastian Bear-McClard \u2013 also said that she refuses to be the object of a \u201cmale gaze\u201d and in recent years she has learned to \u201ccare a whole lot less\u201d what people think about her.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cIn the past two years, how I feel is I just care a whole lot less what people think. So, if I am in a certain type of mood where I want to post something or wear something that I could be judged for because it\u2019s, quote-unquote \u2018desperate\u2019, I\u2019m a little bit like, \u2018Well, that\u2019s where I\u2019m at\u2019.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve learned to prioritise my own happiness, probably because of my son.
