Kathy Griffin was set to celebrate the fourth wedding anniversary with her husband Randy Bick, but just shortly before that she filed for divorce.<\/p>\n
As per the court documents from Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday night, the comedian lists the pair\u2019s date of separation as December 22 and has cited \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d as the reason for their split.<\/p>\n
In the petition for dissolution of their marriage, Kathy asks the court enforce their \u201cpremarital agreement\u201d from 2019 and requests that the court\u2019s ability to award spousal support to both parties be terminated.<\/p>\n
After the news of her divorce came out in the public, Kathy took to her Instagram Story and wrote, \u201cWell\u2026sh*t. This sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kathy married her tour manager in January 2020, which they had described as a \u201csurprise\u201d wedding. The former couple had been dating since 2011.<\/p>\n
At the time, Kathy shared on social media that the entire ceremony was done in just 14 minutes. \u201cWe promised you a typical. We are in love and we cannot stop laughing.\u201d The wedding was officiated by Lily Tomlin.<\/p>\n
