Dominic West and Prince Harry are no longer on talking terms and the actor is revealing the reason behind their fallout.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe sort of [lost touch because] I said too much in a press conference, and so, we didn\u2019t speak after that,\u201d explained the Crown actor during Sunday Morning episode on Times Radio, as per Us Weekly.<\/p>\n
The actor, who plays the role of King Charles on Netflix series, was further pressed by the host Kate McCann to elaborate more on his broken friendship with the Duke Sussex.<\/p>\n
He shared that their friendship fell out a year after they returned from the Walking With the Wounded charity event in 2013 \u2013\u00a0 a trip with injured veterans through Antarctica.<\/p>\n
While West did not share the detail, he referred to his comment made during his press conference in 2014.<\/p>\n
At the press conference, the actor had gushed, \u201c[Harry] was very much part of the team,\u201d according to Us Weekly.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe seemed to specialize in building latrines. He built this incredible castellated structure with blocks to keep out the wind, and it even had a [toilet] roll holder.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor, who has been on Crown since season 5, says that their friendship ended about 10 years ago and he was not able to get any advice from Harry on how to play Charles\u2019 role.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
