The organisation operates a fund that supports nonprofits providing vital services in all phases of a disaster: immediate relief, short-term recovery, and long-term recovery.<\/p>\n<p>The 12-time Grammy winner is often seen socialising on the East Coast, she was just named Time Magazine\u2019s Person of the Year, retaining her ties to Nashville, where she lives and also has her office.<\/p>\n<p>Cato stated that Swift\u2019s donation will be used in supporting the \u201cimmediate and long-term recovery needs\u201d in the Sumner County and the surrounding areas which are affected the most.<\/p>\n<p>Swift\u2019s donation is hardly the first time the newly minted billionaire has quietly engaged in philantrophy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Taylor Swift is extending her generosity to a place close to her heart.
