King Charles III offering Prince Andrew Frogmore cottage to live did not sit well with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.<\/p>\n
According to royal expert Omid Scobie\u2019s upcoming book, Endgame, Charles, 75, offered the royal residence to Andrew, 63, after evicting Harry and Meghan, 42, via an \u201ceviction notice\u201d nailed to the door of the cottage. As per the claims made in the bombshell book, the notice served as a \u201cfinal blow\u201d for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.<\/p>\n
The decision of Charles to offer Frogmore to Andrew might not be against Harry, but the author thinks otherwise. Andrew, meanwhile, repeatedly turned down the property, according to Scobie. The writer also noted that Charles has a \u201cblind spot\u201d when it comes to his younger brother.<\/p>\n
Andrew has lived in the family\u2019s Royal Lodge for the past two decades, paying rent and financially contributing to the estate\u2019s remodeling projects. In 2019, he stepped from his duties as a working member of the royal household after he was accused of sexual misconduct, the allegation which he vehemently denied.
