{"id":14065,"date":"2023-11-27T15:01:28","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T20:01:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usa.businessupturn.com\/?p=14065"},"modified":"2023-11-27T15:01:28","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T20:01:28","slug":"european-union-top-diplomat-strongly-condemns-israels-plans-of-new-settlement-in-west-bank","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/usa\/european-union-top-diplomat-strongly-condemns-israels-plans-of-new-settlement-in-west-bank\/14065\/","title":{"rendered":"European Union top diplomat strongly condemns Israel\u2019s plans of new settlement in West Bank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European Union\u2019s Foreign Policy chief has condemned Israel\u2019s plan of allocating new money for expanding the settlement in the West Bank.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m appalled to learn that in the middle of a war, the Israeli government is poised to commit new funds to build more illegal settlements,\u201d Josep Borrell said earlier.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the violence being spread by the extremist settlers in the region, who will be protected by the Israeli police will \u201cnot make Israel feel safer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also went on to label the settlements as country\u2019s \u201cgreatest security liability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement made by Borrell is considered to be quite strong, considering he is one of the EU\u2019s top diplomat.
