A former model and actress has filed suit against Axl Rose, alleging that he has sexually assaulted her in a New York City hotel during a 1989 encounter.<\/p>\n
Sheila Kennedy has claimed that on Wednesday Rose sexually assaulted and battery her in New York. She alleged that he targeted her using his fame and celebrity status to \u201cmanipulate, control, and violently sexually assault her.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kennedy, who has mentioned about her encounter with Rose in her 2016 memoir, says in the complaint, obtained by PEOPLE, that she was \u201cnot previously aware\u201d of who he was when she first met him at a nightclub after being invited there by a friend.<\/p>\n
A lawyer for Rose has \u201csimply\u201d denied the allegations and has claimed that the incident never happened. \u201cNotably, these fictional claims were filed the day before the New York State filing deadline expires,\u201d said attorney Alan S. Gutman in a statement obtained by the outlet. He continued that \u201cRose has no recollection of ever meeting or speaking to the Plaintiff\u2026 [and] is confident this case will be resolved in his favor.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the complaint, Kennedy left the club with Rose and his entourage and was headed for his hotel suite, where he allegedly pushed her against the wall and kissed her, which she \u201cdid not mind, as she was open to sleeping with him.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the night progressed, the former actress claimed that Rose encouraged group sex, which made her \u201cuncomfortable\u201d as she watched him have sex with another model. The complainant alleged that she left Rose\u2019s bedroom and later heard him throwing glass and screaming obscenities at the model.<\/p>\n
She alleges that he arrived to the room she was sitting in and knocked her on floor to drag her back to his bedroom by grabbing his hair in a \u201cvery painful manner\u201d which left her with bloody knees.<\/p>\n
Once in Rose\u2019s bedroom, Kennedy, now 61, alleges that she was thrown on the floor twice, then tied her hands behind her back with a pantyhose before \u201cforcibly penetrating [her] anus with his penis\u201d without asking for consent.<\/p>\n
