Teyana Taylor has secretly filed for divorce from husband Iman Shumpert in January.<\/p>\n
According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, the singer has accused the former NBA star of being a jealous emotional abuser who was insecure about her fame.<\/p>\n
She has claimed that her ex has treated her cruelly and displayed extreme narcissistic behavior for the majority part of their marriage.<\/p>\n
Taylor, who got married to Iman in 2016, decided to end her marriage as she was \u201cunable to handle the emotional rollercoaster.\u201d<\/p>\n
She allegedly also been the recipient of \u201ccondescending and manipulative\u201d text messages about her career from the retired athlete.<\/p>\n
The outlet added that as per the documents, the singer at one point tried to \u201cdim her light for her husband\u201d so they could have harmonious and peaceful marriage life. This was due to Iman becoming \u201cmore and more angry.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u2018Coming 2 America\u2019 actress also claimed that her husband would get annoyed when the photographers would ask him to step aside to click her solo pictures, at public event they attend together.<\/p>\n
