Brent crude dropped 4.50% to $95.10 per barrel while crude oil slipped 5.48% to $88.74 per barrel. The decline also pushed weekly losses deeper with Brent down 9.46% and crude oil lower by 9.58%.

Despite the sharp daily fall, yearly gains still remain very high. Brent prices are still up 56.26% year to date and 47.83% compared to last year. Crude oil has also gained 54.72% this year and 43.66% over the past 12 months.

The latest correction comes after months of strong rallies in the energy market driven by supply concerns, geopolitical risks, and higher seasonal demand.

Brent crude and gasoline prices record weekly losses above 10%

Fuel markets also moved lower together with oil. Gasoline prices dropped 4.51% in a single day to $3.07 per gallon. Weekly losses reached 11.64% while monthly losses stood at 10.09%.

Heating oil also declined sharply by 4.40% to $3.55 per gallon. Naphtha recorded one of the biggest monthly falls in the energy market with a 17.14% decline. Prices fell to $775.23 per tonne.

Urals oil dropped 3.50% to $92.95 per barrel. The benchmark remains up 84.28% year to date despite recent weakness. LNG JKM prices also slipped 2.05% to $18.43 per MMBTU after losing more than 6% over the week.

The broad decline suggests traders are reacting to easing supply fears and profit booking after a long rally in energy commodities.

Natural gas rises 13.40% monthly while coal and uranium stay stable

Natural gas stood out as one of the few gainers in the market. Prices rose 1.45% on the day to $3.05 per MMBtu. Monthly gains climbed to 13.40% even though prices are still down 17.21% for the year.

European gas markets remained mixed. TTF gas prices fell 2.71% to EUR 46.35 per MWh while UK gas slipped 2.88%. German gas however gained 4.65% during the session.

Coal prices remained mostly stable at $132.60 per tonne with a small daily gain of 0.42%. Uranium prices also stayed firm at $84.95 per pound and are now up 17.99% compared to last year.

Propane was another strong performer with prices jumping 3.98% in a day. Year to date gains have now crossed 37%.

The latest moves show that energy markets remain highly volatile. Oil prices are cooling in the short term but several commodities are still holding strong yearly gains. Traders are now watching demand trends, global supply updates, and economic signals closely as the next phase of energy market movement begins.

The global energy market saw a strong pullback on Tuesday as oil and fuel prices moved lower across the board….

[73
35422,5220,35983,35423,4688,10227,35421,669,4597,12788,35568,35567,35427,35984,5218,34379,33979,35425,35426,35424,35428,23635
post-120716","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-us-markets","tag-brent","tag-coal","tag-coking-coal","tag-crude","tag-crude-oil","tag-energy-market","tag-energy-prices-today","tag-ethanol","tag-gas","tag-gas-price","tag-gasoline","tag-heating-oil","tag-methanol","tag-naphtha","tag-oil","tag-oil-price","tag-top-stories","tag-ttf-gas","tag-uk-gas","tag-urals-oil","tag-uranium","tag-usd
["GET
