Wheat prices have surged 31.30% this year, while potatoes recorded a massive 704.35% monthly jump, making them one of the biggest movers in the market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"692\">Rubber prices are also rising fast with yearly gains of 23.79%, while rice prices have climbed more than 32% in 2026 so far. On the other side, cocoa, coffee, and orange juice continue facing steep declines.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"781\">The latest data shows growing volatility across both food staples and soft commodities.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1kpb5sb\" data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"834\">Wheat, rice and soybean prices continue climbing<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"995\">Wheat prices traded at 667.96 USd per bushel after gaining 11.50% over the month. The commodity is now up 31.30% year to date and 21.92% compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"997\" data-end=\"1113\">Rice prices also remained strong at $12.67 per cwt. Rice has climbed 32.01% this year despite a small daily decline.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1222\">Soybean prices traded near 1,213 USd per bushel. Prices are up 17.87% in 2026 and 15.35% on a yearly basis.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1224\" data-end=\"1316\">Corn prices moved slightly higher to 477.93 USd per bushel. Corn has gained 8.46% this year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1394\">Canola prices rose 27.27% year to date, while rapeseed prices gained 16.35%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1396\" data-end=\"1513\">Oat prices also showed strong momentum. The commodity jumped 17.76% during the month and is up 25.64% in 2026 so far.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"996dwp\" data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1562\">Rubber, palm oil and tea prices surge higher<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1564\" data-end=\"1691\">Rubber prices climbed to 222.70 US cents per kilogram. The commodity has surged 23.79% this year and nearly 30% from last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1693\" data-end=\"1832\">Palm oil prices traded at 4,585 MYR per ton with yearly gains of 13.21%. Sunflower oil prices also moved higher and are up 7.18% this year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1834\" data-end=\"1967\">Tea prices recorded one of the strongest monthly rallies. Tea traded at 220.62 INR per kilogram after rising 21.26% during the month.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2031\">Barley prices also jumped sharply with weekly gains of 10.87%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2033\" data-end=\"2110\">Cotton prices traded at 82.19 US cents per pound and are up 28.15% this year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2112\" data-end=\"2175\">Wool prices continued holding firm with yearly gains of 21.74%.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1kjwji8\" data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2239\">Coffee, cocoa and orange juice prices remain under pressure<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2241\" data-end=\"2360\">Coffee prices traded at 268.53 US cents per pound after falling more than 22% this year. Yearly losses stood at 27.18%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2362\" data-end=\"2502\">Orange juice prices remained one of the weakest performers in the market. Prices are down 24.48% in 2026 and over 41% compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2642\">Cocoa prices fell heavily as well. The commodity traded at $3,925 per ton and is now down 35.19% this year with yearly losses nearing 64%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2769\">Cheese and milk prices also remained weak despite small market movements.
