Solo Leveling Season 3 has not been officially announced or given a release date as of May 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Season 1 premiered in January 2024 and Season 2 aired in early 2025 (concluding around March), both produced by A-1 Pictures and streamed on Crunchyroll. The anime adapts the popular manhwa by Chugong, following Sung Jin-Woo\u2019s rise from the weakest hunter to an overwhelmingly powerful Shadow Monarch.<\/p>\n

Solo Leveling Season 3 Release Expectations<\/h2>\n

The production is extremely strenuous. It takes 10-12 months to produce just one episode of this series because of the rigorous animation standards required by the show. Producers Sota Furuhashi (Aniplex) and Atsushi Kaneko (A-1 Pictures) have both stated that they will try to allow the staff enough time to work on each episode. Although Furuhashi suggested that the optimal time for release would be 2028, around the time of the next summer Olympics, it really is up to A-1 Pictures and Kaneko. At events, such as Mumbai Comic Con, Kaneko reiterated his view that they simply need \u201cjust a little more time\u201d to work on it\u2014which has given rise to speculation that the series could be completed in late 2026 or sometime between late 2027 and 2028, but most sources consider late 2027 or 2028 to be more realistic based on previous comments made by different members of the cast and crew.<\/p>\n

As of now, there has been no trailer released or official announcement providing release information regarding a series or films; however, various rumors have suggested that a theatrical release may occur before the TV series (or perhaps just a short period of time). Solo Leveling Season 3 Expected Plot<\/h2>\n

The third season will pick up from where we left off at roughly chapter 110 of the manhwa, explore the story behind the Monarchs\u2019 War, give new information about the System and the Gates, and show Jin-Woo battling strong opponents. This new season should consist of between 12 and 13 episodes and will allow Jin-Woo to further grow his shadow army and develop his relationship with other national-level hunters.<\/p>\n

The delay in Season 3 of Solo Leveling is due to the studio wanting to create high-quality content, which has been the reason why the previous two seasons have done so well. Fans can follow along with any announcements through Crunchyroll, social media, or at events such as Jump Festa (in December).
