Global agricultural commodities witnessed sharp price swings as tea prices surged more than 22% in a month while potato prices recorded an extraordinary 704.35% monthly jump. Markets across grains, soft commodities, and edible oils remained highly volatile due to changing weather conditions, supply concerns, and shifting global demand.<\/p>\n

Several agricultural products posted strong yearly gains while others continued to struggle under weak consumption and oversupply pressure.<\/p>\n

Tea, potatoes and rice record strong gains in agricultural market<\/h2>\n

Tea prices traded at INR 199.66 per kilogram after skyrocketing 16.39% in a single session. Monthly gains touched 22.78% while year to date growth stood at 8.94%.<\/p>\n

Potatoes became one of the biggest movers in the market. Prices traded at EUR 18.50 per 100 kilograms with a massive 704.35% monthly surge. Year to date gains also climbed to 184.62%.<\/p>\n

Rice prices moved higher to $11.6650 per cwt despite a 1.27% daily drop. The commodity gained 7.26% weekly and is now up 21.57% this year.<\/p>\n

Rubber prices traded at 222.60 US cents per kilogram after rising 1.37% daily. Monthly gains reached 7.80% while yearly growth stood at 29.95%.<\/p>\n

Cotton prices also remained firm at 83.498 US cents per pound with a 29.90% rise year to date and a 25.12% annual gain.<\/p>\n

Soybeans and wheat stay positive while corn struggles<\/h2>\n

Soybeans traded at 1170.57 US cents per bushel after slipping 0.55% during the day. Despite short term weakness, soybean prices are still up 14.88% year to date and 12.56% annually.<\/p>\n

Wheat prices remained steady at 601.74 US cents per bushel. The commodity posted an 18.69% yearly gain even after a 3.64% weekly decline.<\/p>\n

Corn traded at 452.4204 US cents per bushel and stayed mostly flat. Prices fell 3.38% weekly and yearly gains remained limited at 2.76%.<\/p>\n

Canola prices climbed to CAD 743.38 per ton with yearly gains reaching 25.98%. Rapeseed also strengthened with a 12.86% rise this year.<\/p>\n

Oat prices stayed under pressure at 312.5068 US cents per bushel after falling 3.99% daily and 6.44% weekly.<\/p>\n

Barley prices remained weak with a 7.31% decline year to date and a 10.03% yearly drop.<\/p>\n

Coffee and cocoa prices remain under pressure despite volatility<\/h2>\n

Coffee prices traded at 277.65 US cents per pound after rising 1.61% during the day. However, the commodity remained sharply lower overall with a 20.39% decline year to date and a 29.83% yearly fall.<\/p>\n

Cocoa prices stood at $4372.81 per ton after falling 1.22% daily. Despite a massive 35.73% monthly rise, cocoa remains down 27.49% this year and more than 53% lower compared to last year.<\/p>\n

Orange Juice prices surged 5.37% daily to 182.49 US cents per pound but still showed heavy yearly losses of 29.26%.<\/p>\n

Sugar traded at 14.60 US cents per pound and remained weak with a 2.76% decline this year and an 18.04% yearly drop.<\/p>\n

Palm Oil prices traded at MYR 4541 per ton while Sunflower Oil stood at INR 1539.60 per 10 kilograms. Both edible oils continued to show mixed movement amid changing export demand and supply trends.<\/p>\n

Milk prices traded at $17.08 per cwt while Cheese prices stood at $1.6880 per pound. Butter prices remained under pressure with a steep 43.86% yearly decline.<\/p>\n

The latest agricultural market data shows that weather disruptions, food demand, export restrictions, and supply shortages continue to create sharp volatility across global commodity markets.
