Agricultural commodities witnessed sharp price swings on Tuesday as cocoa, tea, rice, and cotton posted strong gains while coffee, sugar, oats, and orange juice remained under heavy pressure. Global supply concerns, weather conditions, and changing demand trends continued to impact food and crop markets.<\/p>\n

Cocoa recorded one of the strongest rallies in the agricultural market. Prices surged 6.31% in a single day to USD 4395.90 per tonne. Weekly gains stood at 23.06% while monthly growth reached 34.23%. Despite the sharp rebound, cocoa prices are still down 27.59% year to date and 51.89% lower compared to last year.<\/p>\n

Tea prices in India jumped 16.39% to INR 199.66 per kilogram. The commodity also gained 22.78% during the month, making it one of the strongest short term performers in the market.<\/p>\n

Rice prices climbed 0.90% to USD 11.8150 per cwt. Weekly gains touched 9.45% while yearly growth remained strong at 23.14%.<\/p>\n

Cocoa and Tea prices lead gains in agricultural market<\/h2>\n

Cotton prices declined 2.12% to USD 82.266 per pound, but the commodity still posted strong medium term growth. Cotton is now up 15.22% monthly, 28.49% year to date, and 23.82% higher than last year.<\/p>\n

Rubber prices rose 0.83% to 219.60 US cents per kilogram. Monthly gains stood at 7.12% while yearly growth reached 27.45%.<\/p>\n

Palm Oil traded slightly higher at MYR 4541 per tonne after a 0.31% rise. The commodity remained 12.12% higher in 2026 and gained 19.47% year over year.<\/p>\n

Cheese prices increased 0.36% to USD 1.7111 per pound. Monthly gains stood at 4.14% while year to date growth touched 18.09%.<\/p>\n

Milk prices edged up 0.35% to USD 17.20 per cwt. The commodity remained stable monthly but gained 13.01% in 2026.<\/p>\n

Potatoes remained one of the most volatile agricultural commodities. Prices stayed flat at EUR 18.50 per 100 kilograms, but monthly growth exploded by 704.35%. Year to date gains reached 184.62%.<\/p>\n

Coffee and Orange Juice prices continue sharp decline<\/h2>\n

Coffee prices fell 1.71% to USD 279.01 per pound. The commodity is now down 19.88% year to date and 29.53% lower compared to last year as demand weakens and supply improves.<\/p>\n

Orange Juice prices declined 0.49% to USD 179.08 per pound. Monthly losses widened to 13.04% while yearly losses touched 34.23%.<\/p>\n

Sugar prices also stayed weak. The commodity dropped 2.26% to USD 14.47 per pound. Sugar prices are now down 3.10% in 2026 and 16.93% lower year over year.<\/p>\n

Oat prices recorded one of the sharpest declines among grains. Prices slipped 4.33% to USD 315.01 per bushel. Yearly losses widened to 14.86%.<\/p>\n

Corn prices dropped 0.97% to USD 448.3436 per bushel. Weekly losses reached 3.53%, although yearly performance remained slightly positive.<\/p>\n

Wheat prices fell 1.36% to USD 597.75 per bushel. Despite the decline, wheat still gained 17.90% year to date and 16.52% annually.<\/p>\n

Soybean prices slipped 0.69% to USD 1170.88 per bushel. The commodity remained 13.62% higher in 2026 and gained 12.94% compared to last year.<\/p>\n

Wool and Canola prices remain strong despite mixed commodity trend<\/h2>\n

Wool prices traded at AUD 1886 per 100 kilograms after a 0.58% decline. Even with the daily drop, wool still posted a strong 58.35% yearly gain.<\/p>\n

Canola prices fell 0.70% to CAD 738.32 per tonne. However, year to date growth remained strong at 25.35%.<\/p>\n

Rapeseed prices slipped 1.39% to EUR 509.57 per tonne but stayed 12.65% higher this year.<\/p>\n

Sunflower Oil prices edged lower by 0.59% to INR 1539.60 per 10 kilograms. The commodity remained 18.49% higher year over year.<\/p>\n

Butter prices rose 2.30% to EUR 4003 per tonne, although yearly losses remained steep at 44.47%.<\/p>\n
