The metals market witnessed a strong rally on Tuesday as silver, lithium, platinum, and copper posted impressive gains. Precious metals stayed firm due to safe haven demand, while industrial metals gained support from improving manufacturing activity and rising battery sector demand.<\/p>\n

Silver emerged as the top performer among major metals. Prices surged 5.47% in a single day to USD 81.538 per troy ounce. Weekly gains stood at 10.73% while monthly growth touched 10%. Silver has now climbed 14.41% in 2026 and recorded a massive 151.40% rise compared to last year.<\/p>\n

Gold prices also moved higher. The precious metal rose 1.18% to USD 4746.97 per troy ounce. Gold gained 2.71% on a weekly basis and stayed 43.18% higher year over year. Investors continued to shift toward gold amid uncertainty in global commodity markets.<\/p>\n

Silver and Gold prices continue strong upward momentum<\/h2>\n

Platinum prices jumped 2.30% to USD 2110 per troy ounce. The metal gained 5.81% weekly and 116.58% compared to last year. Platinum remained one of the strongest precious metal performers in the market.<\/p>\n

Copper prices climbed 0.87% to USD 6.1901 per pound. The industrial metal gained 4.44% over the week and 7.46% during the month. Copper prices are now up 36.16% from year ago levels as demand from electric vehicle and infrastructure sectors remains strong.<\/p>\n

Iron Ore prices also stayed positive. Iron Ore traded at USD 110.86 per tonne after rising 2.10% daily. Weekly gains stood at 3.46%, while yearly gains reached 11.61%.<\/p>\n

Iron Ore priced in Chinese yuan edged up 0.12% to CNY 817 per tonne. The commodity remained stable with 17.72% yearly growth.<\/p>\n

Lithium prices soar 191.95% YoY as battery metal demand rises<\/h2>\n

Lithium continued its massive rally in the metals market. Prices increased 1.60% to CNY 190500 per tonne. Monthly gains touched 20.19%, while year to date growth reached 60.76%. Lithium prices are now up a staggering 191.95% from last year due to strong electric vehicle battery demand.<\/p>\n

Steel prices in China rose 0.22% to CNY 3246 per tonne. The metal gained 4.98% during the month and stayed 5.80% higher year over year.<\/p>\n

HRC Steel prices moved slightly higher by 0.10% to USD 1136.15 per tonne. The commodity gained 21.51% year to date and 27.66% annually.<\/p>\n

Silicon prices climbed 1.76% to CNY 8940 per tonne. Monthly gains stood at 7.97%, while yearly growth reached 6.18%.<\/p>\n

Scrap Steel traded at USD 421 per tonne after a small 0.12% rise. Despite a weak weekly trend, Scrap Steel still gained 24.19% compared to last year.<\/p>\n

Cobalt and Titanium remain stable despite broader market rally<\/h2>\n

Cobalt Hydroxide prices remained unchanged at USD 56438.27 per metric tonne. The commodity posted slight weekly and monthly declines, but yearly gains remained extremely strong at 96.04%.<\/p>\n
