Traders reacted to weakening demand concerns and pressure across commodity markets. While some fuels stayed strong on a yearly basis, short term losses dominated the session.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"400\" data-end=\"677\">Crude Oil dropped 5.26% in a single day to USD 90.077 per barrel. The commodity is now down 14.27% on a weekly basis and 4.59% lower for the month. Despite the recent correction, crude oil still remains 56.87% higher on a year to date basis and 50.35% above last year\u2019s levels.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"895\">Brent crude also faced heavy pressure. Prices slipped 4.95% to USD 96.261 per barrel. Weekly losses stood at 12.66%. However, Brent still showed strong yearly momentum with a 58.46% YTD gain and a 53.44% yearly rise.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"porti2\" data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"953\">Crude oil and Brent prices record major weekly losses<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1218\">Urals Oil posted the biggest decline among major oil benchmarks. Prices crashed 12.47% in one day to USD 98.46 per barrel. Monthly losses widened to 21.14%. Even after the correction, Urals Oil stayed 95.20% higher for the year and 79.15% above last year\u2019s value.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1473\">Gasoline prices also dropped sharply. The fuel fell 3.33% to USD 3.3441 per gallon. Weekly losses reached 7.55%. Yet gasoline remained one of the strongest performers in the energy market with a massive 95.33% year to date jump and a 59.61% yearly gain.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1653\">Heating Oil declined 4.96% to USD 3.5979 per gallon. The fuel is down 11.83% weekly and 5.52% monthly. Still, prices are 69.61% higher this year and 75.27% above year ago levels.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1655\" data-end=\"1872\">Naphtha saw one of the deepest monthly declines. Prices dropped 7.84% daily to USD 827.24 per tonne. Monthly losses touched 18.13%. Despite this fall, Naphtha still gained 69.39% in 2026 and 56.63% over the last year.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"wtsuo0\" data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1925\">Natural gas and LNG prices remain under pressure<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1927\" data-end=\"2125\">Natural Gas prices slipped 1.70% to USD 2.6837 per MMBtu. The commodity remained weak across all major timelines. It fell 2.51% weekly, 0.97% monthly, 26.82% year to date, and 24.90% year over year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2127\" data-end=\"2328\">TTF Gas prices in Europe also declined 2.12% to EUR 42.97 per MWh. Weekly losses stood at 6.85% while monthly losses reached 5.44%. Even with the recent decline, TTF Gas stayed 52.11% higher this year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2330\" data-end=\"2474\">UK Gas dropped 2.52% to 104.8478 GBp per therm. Prices were down 7.43% weekly and 8.54% monthly. However, yearly gains remained solid at 22.43%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2476\" data-end=\"2627\">LNG JKM prices fell 1.09% to USD 16.85 per MMBtu. The benchmark was down 15.18% for the month but still surged 75.43% year to date and 47.68% annually.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2629\" data-end=\"2829\">German Gas prices recorded one of the steepest daily declines in the gas segment. Prices fell 6.24% to EUR 45.16 per MWh. Monthly losses widened to 12.02%, although yearly gains still stood at 27.85%.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"5moo91\" data-start=\"2831\" data-end=\"2887\">Coal, uranium and ethanol markets show mixed movement<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2889\" data-end=\"3063\">Coal prices edged down 1.75% to USD 132.05 per tonne. The commodity stayed relatively stable compared to oil markets. Coal still gained 22.84% year to date and 33.72% yearly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3065\" data-end=\"3228\">Uranium prices remained mostly steady. The commodity slipped only 0.23% to USD 86.25 per pound. Uranium posted a 5.63% rise this year and a 23.04% yearly increase.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3230\" data-end=\"3356\">Ethanol prices dropped 2.96% to USD 1.9650 per gallon. Despite the daily decline, ethanol remained 23.78% higher year to date.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3358\" data-end=\"3508\">Methanol prices in China declined sharply by 5.38% to CNY 3075 per tonne. However, the chemical still gained 40.41% in 2026 and 33.99% from last year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3703\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Coking Coal emerged as one of the few gainers in the energy market. Prices rose 0.85% to USD 237 per tonne.
