Suzanne Shepherd, who is popularly known for playing the role of mothers of key female characters in \u2018Goodfellas\u2019 and \u2018The Sopranos\u2019 died on Friday at the age of 89.<\/p>\n
The actress, born in 1934, is also remembered for her memorable roles in the movies such as \u2018Mystic Pizza\u2019, \u2018Uncle Buck\u2019, \u2018A Dirty Shame\u2019, \u2018 and \u2018Requiem for a Dream\u2019. She also made guest appearances on the TV shows such as \u2018Ed\u2019, \u2018Law & Order\u2019, and \u2018Blue Bloods\u2019.<\/p>\n
Shepherd, who lived on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, had a peaceful death as she passed away during the early hours of yesterday morning, as shared by actor and real estate agent Tom Titone in his Facebook post.<\/p>\n
Titone added that the late actress \u201cwas the officiant to our marriage under a beautiful gazebo in Central Park with a gathering of family and friends. For this, I will always be grateful.\u201d The real estate also shared that he met Shepherd when he studied with her as a young actor. Moreover, the late actress also introduced him to her husband.<\/p>\n
