Metal prices are showing strong momentum in key areas. Some metals are rising fast both in the short term and long term. Others are still under pressure. The gap between top performers and weak metals is getting clearer.<\/p>\n

Gold rises 0.49 percent while silver jumps 2.46 percent today<\/h2>\n

Gold is trading at 4768.68 USD per ounce. It is up 0.49 percent today. Weekly gain stands at 1.37 percent. But monthly trend is slightly negative at 4.68 percent. Year to date growth is 10.48 percent. Yearly gain is strong at 46.80 percent.<\/p>\n

Silver is one of the biggest gainers. It is up 2.46 percent today. Weekly growth is 6.34 percent. Year to date gain is 8.84 percent. But the biggest highlight is the yearly surge of 139.44 percent.<\/p>\n

Platinum is moving slowly. It is up just 0.01 percent today. But weekly gain is strong at 7.29 percent. Yearly growth stands at 117.83 percent.<\/p>\n

Copper rises 1.33 percent while lithium jumps 36.29 percent YTD<\/h2>\n

Copper is trading at 6.0555 USD per pound. It is up 1.33 percent today. Weekly gain is strong at 9.22 percent. Monthly growth is 4.58 percent. Yearly increase stands at 31.62 percent.<\/p>\n

Lithium continues to shine. It is up 2.87 percent today. Weekly and monthly growth are positive. Year to date gain is 36.29 percent. Yearly growth is very high at 125.72 percent.<\/p>\n

Scrap steel is also rising. It is up 0.74 percent today. Year to date growth is 11.90 percent. HRC steel has gained 15.84 percent this year.<\/p>\n

Steel and iron ore remain weak while silicon drops 10.59 percent YoY<\/h2>\n

Steel is almost flat. It is down 0.03 percent today. Weekly and monthly trends are negative. Year to date change is slightly down at 0.55 percent.<\/p>\n

Iron ore in CNY is down 0.65 percent today. Monthly loss is 6.24 percent. Year to date drop is 3.93 percent. Global iron ore prices are more stable but still weak overall.<\/p>\n

Silicon is under pressure. It is down 1.13 percent today. Year to date loss is 5.19 percent. Yearly decline is 10.59 percent.<\/p>\n

Titanium is stable with no daily change. It has gained 4.35 percent this year but yearly trend is slightly negative.<\/p>\n

The metals market is clearly split. Precious metals and battery metals are leading the gains. Industrial metals like steel and iron ore are still struggling.
