The two-car Yellow Line-Skokie Swift train was headed inbound from Skokie at the time and it hit a piece of snow removal equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The Fire Department shared that there were present around 31 passengers and 7 CTA employees on train, and all of them were injured. At one time, more than 15 ambulances were called at the site to treat the injured.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur thoughts are with all affected and we are grateful for our brave first responders on the scene,\u201d stated Mayor Brandon Johnson. He added that they are working closely with the emergency services as they monitor the incident.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Just before 10:45 a.m., a two-car Skokie Swift train traveling southbound encountered a CTA snow removal vehicle traveling in the same direction.
