The Boys, is the most popular OTT series world wide, it\u2019s season 5 is the fifth and final season of the hit satirical superhero series on Amazon Prime Video. It premieres soon with episodes dropping weekly thereafter.<\/p>\n

Billy Butcher has been reunited with The Boys to form a new team and is desperate to get back at Homelander and will use any means necessary to achieve that end even if it means unleashing a virus that could wipe out all the Supes on the planet and could be apocalyptic in its nature.<\/p>\n The themes of this season involve fighting back against tyrants, dealing with past demons, life-changing betrayals and a big city destroying finale according to Eric Kripke, the showrunner of The Boys, will be \u201cbig, bloody, devastatingly sad and satisfyingly planned providing a conclusion to every mass character in the series.\u201d There is no one safe, and the two main conflicts Butcher\/Homelander and Hughie\/Annie will be resolved.
