Genndy Tartakovsky\u2019s Primal is back with Season 3! Season 3 debuted on Adult Swim on Saturday, January 11, 2026, at 11:30 PM ET\/PT, and each episode will stream the next day on HBO Max (now Max) starting on January 12, 2026.<\/p>\n
Originally renewed in June of 2023, Season 3 had a long production time. Genndy Tartakovsky updated fans throughout 2024 and 2025 that the season was in the process of being created, and that by late 2024, half of the animation was completed to release the season in 2025 or early 2026. Adult Swim officially announced the premiere date of January 11, 2026, in November 2025, along with promotional trailers and first-look images.<\/p>\n
As a continuation of the emotional Season 2 finale (Spear appeared to die), Season 3 introduces a very large twist in Spear\u2019s resurrection (in a new undeath\/zombie form) with no memory or humanity, both of which ultimately led to an extremely visceral and brutal Season 3 and continued Spear and Fang\u2019s story.
