Most forecasts had predicted growth of around 4.1%. Economic activity had bounced back following the 12 day war with Iran. Businesses reopened. Spending picked up. That created a sharp rebound in output.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"990\">By the fourth quarter, that rebound effect had faded. The latest data shows that weaker domestic demand was the main reason for the slowdown. This means people and businesses inside the country were spending less compared to the previous quarter.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1219\">Even with the slower finish to the year, the overall picture for 2025 looks better than the year before. For the full year, Israel\u2019s economy expanded by 3.1%.
