The FBI have seized the electronic devices of New York City Mayor Eric Adams as part of a federal investigation that previously brought the FBI to the home of his top fundraiser, a source familiar with the matter informed ABC News.<\/p>\n

It has been confirmed by the mayor\u2019s office that seizure took place on Monday. Mayor has denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a former member of law enforcement, I expect all members of my staff to follow the law and fully cooperate with any sort of investigation \u2013 and I will continue to do exactly that. I have nothing to hide,\u201d said Adams in a statement.<\/p>\n

The investigation<\/a> seeks to determine whether his campaign has been the recipient of any illegal foreign donations from Turkey with a Brooklyn construction company as a conduit sources. Earlier, in the investigation, the federal official has conducted a house search of Brianna Suggs, who was the main fundraiser in Adams\u2019 campaign.<\/p>\n

As per the reports by ABC News, the investigators came to Adams post an event on Monday evening, asking for all the devices he had on him, including an iPad and a phone.<\/p>\n
