The unusual announcement, regarding the location of the ship, which can launch nuclear missiles, is to contain the spread of Israel \u2013 Hamas conflict in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn November 5, 2023, an Ohio-class submarine arrived in the US Central Command area of responsibility,\u201d US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>A picture was shared by the Department of Defense Unit, which featured the submarine moving through the Suez Canal.<\/p>\n<p>Since the war broke out between Israel and Hamas on October 7th, the United States, being the closest ally of Israel, has moved significant military assets to the region, which includes aircraft carriers and extensive fighter aircraft.
