One of the most anticipated Marvel shows coming to Disney+ is Wonder Man, which blends a refreshing Hollywood satire with superhero action and buddy-comedy type antics through a chaotic pairing of aspiring actor Simon Williams and lovable Trevor Slattery. Fans will have a lot of great stuff to look forward to in Season 2, including relatable showbiz struggles, sweet odd couple moments, identity crises, and everyday humor peppered with MCU twists, after the high emotional level and critical acclaim of Season 1.

Wonder Man Season 2: Release Date Speculation

As of now, an official release date has not been confirmed. Production information is also currently unavailable; however, expectations based on past Marvel TV timelines and Destin Daniel Cretton’s additional projects (like directing Spider-Man: Brand New Day) suggest that the best-case scenario for airing will be sometime in 2027 or early 2028. Some speculation from early sources pointed towards mid-2027 as a possible timeline for airing.

Wonder Man Season 2: Cast

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will reprise his role as Simon Williams (Wonder Man), a young actor trying to navigate his superhuman powers and his desire for a successful career in Hollywood. Also returning to reprise their character is Ben Kingsley, portraying Trevor Slattery, a whimsical and insane ex-actor. Returning co-creators are Destin Daniel Cretton (director/executive producer) and Andrew Guest (showrunner/executive producer). We can expect to see some of the original supporting cast (including Arian Moayed (P. Cleary)); however, as of yet, none of the supporting cast members have been confirmed beyond the lead characters.

Wonder Man Season 2: Plot Details

Specific plot details for Season 2 remain unknown, but it is likely to continue along the same ridiculous path as Season 1. In Season 1, we saw Simon as he navigated his way through the world of acting, gaining powers as he did so, while also having difficulties due to Trevor’s antics and being caught up in the DODC. There is also a suggestion that Season 2 will continue with Simon and Trevor as partners in the entertainment industry, but the primary theme will be to explore celebrity, identity, and MCU connections with more humor and action. The series was described by Marvel as being the continuation of “Simon and Trevor’s story.

Wonder Man will be the third live-action MCU series on Disney+ to receive a second season after Loki and Daredevil: Born Again. More news about this project is expected at conventions such as D23. Fans can catch up on Season 1 of *Wonder Man* on Disney+.
