Wolfs: Synopsis
Wolfs is a high-stakes crime thriller centered on two professional fixers, played by George Clooney and Brad Pitt, who are hired to clean up a high-profile crime. Clooney’s character is a seasoned, lone wolf fixer, renowned for his ability to quietly erase traces of wrongdoing for the rich and powerful. When he takes on his latest job, he expects it to go as smoothly as always. However, things take a sharp turn when another fixer, played by Brad Pitt, arrives at the scene with the same assignment.
Both men are used to working solo, and their clashing methods and egos immediately cause friction. As the night unfolds, the tension between them grows, with each trying to outmaneuver the other. But the stakes get even higher when their careful cover-up starts to unravel, leading to unexpected twists and dangerous complications. What begins as a straightforward cleanup turns into a chaotic, action-packed battle for control, survival, and perhaps even redemption.
As the two fixers are forced to collaborate against their will, their personal codes of ethics and approaches to the job are challenged. The night spirals out of control, leading them into a labyrinth of betrayal, unexpected allies, and dangerous foes.
Supported by a star-studded ensemble cast featuring Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Burić, Wolfs combines sharp wit with tense, fast-paced action. Directed and written by Jon Watts, the film delivers suspense, dark humor, and a unique exploration of what happens when two “lone wolves” are forced to confront their vulnerabilities and each other.
