LE SSERAFIM, a fast-growing K-Pop girl group from the South Korean HYBE subsidiary label Source Music, has garnered global success since their debut in early 2022. With their second extended play “Antifragile,” released in October of the same year, they became the K-Pop girl group to make the Billboard 200 in the shortest time since their debut, peaking at 14.
Starting off 2024 on a high note, LE SSERAFIM was announced as one of the acts performing at Coachella, alongside fellow South Korean acts ATEEZ and The Rose. This achievement marked them as the fastest K-pop group to be featured in the prestigious musical festival within two years of their debut.
While Coachella is their only confirmed concert in the United States for 2024, fans are hopeful for more. The group is expected to release new music early in the year, following their first studio album, “Unforgiven,” released in May of the previous year. Considering the regular output in K-pop, there’s anticipation for a potential tour announcement, possibly on a global scale.
In 2023, LE SSERAFIM embarked on their first tour, covering select Asian countries, including South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Thailand. Their first U.S. promotional tour occurred later in 2023 when they visited New York and Los Angeles to promote “Unforgiven” and their collaboration song for Overwatch 2, titled “Perfect Night.”
While the group has made media appearances and is set to perform at Coachella, they have yet to headline a concert in the U.S. Fans are optimistic that 2024 might be the year for LE SSERAFIM to expand their presence with more concerts and possibly a broader tour.
