Patrick Schwarzenegger, known for his role as Saxon Ratliff in season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus, recently shared a funny story about fans sending him money on Venmo during the show’s run. In an interview with People Magazine alongside his co-star Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick revealed that it wasn’t just a few fans, but quite a number of people who sent him money. Thankfully, he made sure to return every single payment, calling the whole experience amusing.
He explained to the media, jokingly asking Aimee if she had ever experienced anything like it, mentioning that he even shared the story in their White Lotus group chat. Although Aimee Lou Wood couldn’t relate to receiving money from fans, she shared her own funny anecdote about how she spent a lot on coconuts while filming in Thailand. She described her coconut obsession as “chronic,” saying she couldn’t stop drinking them and that she might have been a little too hydrated.
The two actors also talked about how close they became while working together on the show’s third season, expressing excitement at the idea of teaming up again for future projects. Overall, the interview highlighted not just the quirky moments of fame but also the strong bond between the co-stars.
