G-Dragon is currently on his world tour called Übermensch, and Bangkok was supposed to be his next stop. But before the concert, fans sent a protest truck to his agency, Galaxy Corporation, on July 8 to show their anger about how things were being handled.

Soon after the protest, the Bangkok concert, which was set for August 2, got cancelled. On July 10, the concert organizer, AEG Presents Asia, announced the cancellation. They said it was due to “unforeseen circumstances” but didn’t explain any further.

Fans were very upset because there was no information about a new date or if the show would be rescheduled. Many had been excited to see G-Dragon perform live in Thailand, and this sudden news was disappointing.

Although the organizers didn’t give a clear reason for cancelling the concert, many fans believe it was connected to the protest. Fans have been unhappy with the agency’s poor management of the tour and G-Dragon’s activities.

They pointed out several problems, like poor scheduling of overseas shows and a long 73-minute delay during his March 29 concert in Korea. Fans also complained about tickets being sold on unofficial websites, making it hard for real fans to buy them fairly.

Other complaints included the company not protecting G-Dragon from harmful rumors and giving too much attention to the company’s CEO, Choi Yong Ho. Fans felt the agency was focusing more on its own image than on the artist.

Because of all this, fans made specific demands. They want the agency to take strong legal action against false rumors. They also want better ticketing systems that treat fan club members and local fans fairly. They asked for better planning of tour schedules to protect G-Dragon’s health and wanted the CEO to stay out of the spotlight and stop using G-Dragon for the company’s branding.
