Lady Gaga surprised everyone by cancelling her ‘Mayhem Ball’ concert in Miami just moments before it was set to start. She shared the news on her Instagram stories, apologising to fans and promising to reschedule the show as soon as possible.
The reason behind the cancellation was her voice. Gaga revealed that during rehearsal and warmups, her voice felt extremely strained. Both her doctor and vocal coach advised her not to perform, warning of the risk of permanent damage. She admitted it was a tough choice, saying she really wanted to go on stage but couldn’t risk her long-term vocal health. In her note, she asked fans for forgiveness and apologised for any disappointment or inconvenience.
This Miami show was the last of three scheduled in the city. She still has two shows planned in New York, but it’s unclear if she will be able to perform them. Reports say that tickets for the Miami concert will be refunded.
Meanwhile, Gaga is also making waves on Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2. She appears as Rosaline Rotwood, a character with a chilling presence. In a first look revealed on Instagram, she wears an ethereal white gown with Thing perched on her shoulder. Her white hair and eyebrows add to the mysterious, intense vibe of the character, sparking excitement among fans.
