Physical Asia on Netflix has finally reached its end. This global version of Physical 100 brought together eight countries to fight for the title of the strongest team. The last episodes aired on November 18. The final battle came down to South Korea and Mongolia. Both teams pushed themselves to the limit for the huge prize of 1 billion KRW which is about 700000 USD. In the end South Korea took the crown.
The show had 12 episodes in total. South Korea Japan Mongolia and Australia made it to the semi finals after defeating Turkey Thailand the Philippines and Indonesia. Japan moved straight to the fifth quest by beating Australia in a very close match. Then came the Death Match where Australia who was seen as one of the strongest teams was eliminated because of a strategy that did not work out for them.
The final round was called Castle Conquest. It was extremely intense. All six teams had started with forty eight contestants in total. By the finale only South Korea and Mongolia were left fighting to claim the top spot. They gave everything they had. In the end South Korea stood victorious and Mongolia finished as the runner up.
The winning team included UFC fighter Kim Dong Hyun ssireum wrestler Kim Min Jae national wrestler Jang Eun Sil crossfitter Amotti crossfitter Choi Seung Yeon and former skeleton racer Yun Sung Bin. They walked away with the grand prize of 1 billion KRW.
Here are the final rankings for the season. South Korea at the top. Mongolia as runner up. Followed by Japan Australia Turkey the Philippines Indonesia and Thailand.
