He is survived by his wife Hilary Blackmore, his daughter Lilly Lazare-Greene, and his grandson Tarlo.
Greene appeared in many TV shows, including Wolf Lake, Defiance, Echo, 1883, and Tulsa King. He was also in several Hollywood films like Dances with Wolves, Thunderheart, Maverick, Die Hard with a Vengeance, The Green Mile, Transamerica, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Wind River, and Molly’s Game. His role in Dances with Wolves as Kicking Bird brought him worldwide recognition. The film earned 12 Academy Award nominations, and Greene received a Best Supporting Actor nod, cementing his place among the industry’s top talents.
He worked with many well-known actors, including Bruce Willis, Tom Hanks, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Idris Elba, and Val Kilmer. His final posthumous project, Ice Fall, starring Joel Kinnaman, is set to be released soon.
