Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer have officially tied the knot! The couple got married on April 20 in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home, surrounded by close family and friends, including actress Ashley Benson. The couple had obtained their marriage license earlier in the week, and photos from the wedding showed the two exchanging vows in a relaxed and personal setting.

Stewart and Meyer had been engaged since 2021, and during an interview on The Howard Stern Show, Stewart shared how much she loved the proposal, saying, “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted. And, you know, she nailed it. It was really cute.” Stewart had also expressed her desire for a casual wedding, saying, “I want to stay home. Like, I want to be in L.A. so everyone can come…we’re just going to, like, stand and, like, do vows and f—ing party after.”

The couple’s love story began when they first met on a movie set but reconnected years later at a mutual friend’s birthday party. They were first romantically linked in August 2019 when they were seen kissing in New York City. Stewart has shared that she felt an instant connection with Meyer and knew early on that they were meant to be together. “I was already thinking about proposing,” Stewart said, recalling a moment in a bar when she realized she was completely in love with Meyer.

Dylan Meyer, a talented screenwriter and actress, has worked on several film and TV projects, including co-writing and executive-producing the Netflix movie XOXO and contributing to the sci-fi series Miss 2059. She also appears in a few short films. While Meyer keeps a low profile in the media, she occasionally shares personal moments on her social media, often paying tribute to Stewart.

The couple has kept much of their relationship private, but their bond has been visible through their participation in events like Black Lives Matter protests and Emma Roberts’ baby shower. Stewart has spoken about how happy and lucky she feels to be with Meyer, saying in November 2021, “It’s so nice to know something in this world. I know I’m so surely happy.”

Although Stewart had previously shared that she wasn’t interested in a traditional wedding format, she did mention in a Watch What Happens Live interview that she hoped celebrity chef Guy Fieri would officiate their ceremony, as he marries many queer couples and seemed like a genuinely nice person.

Their wedding marks a new chapter in their journey together, and the couple’s fans are excited to see this happy milestone in their relationship!
