The Real Housewives franchise has maintained its status as a Bravo staple since its inception in 2006. Over the years, the series has undergone various iterations, yet it remains a guilty pleasure for many viewers. And let’s be real, we all have our favorite housewives—Andy Cohen, the longtime executive producer, is no exception. Recently, Cohen finally revealed which housewives hold a special place in his heart.
In November 2023, Cohen appeared on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast for an interview in front of a live audience. While the television personality made headlines for his candid discussions about his private life (revealing himself as a “daddy” in the bedroom, fittingly for the podcast’s theme), he also opened up about his favorite housewives.
Although Cohen has been asked multiple times about his preferences among the housewives, this marked the first occasion he chose to provide an answer.
When questioned about his favorite housewives, Cohen shared that his preference lies with “the ones [he has] the longest history with.” However, he didn’t stop there. Cohen decided to put an end to the mystery and specifically named “Vicki, Tamra, Teresa, Luann” as his favorite housewives.
Fans well-versed in the Real Housewives series will recognize these names as Vicki Gunvalson (Real Housewives of Orange County), Tamra Judge (Real Housewives of Orange County), Teresa Giudice (Real Housewives of New Jersey), and Luann de Lesseps (Real Housewives of New York).
It’s understandable that Cohen has favorites, considering the extensive period he has known these women. However, there might be some disappointment among fans as favorites like NeNe Leakes or the iconic Erika Jayne didn’t make it onto his list.
