Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday has a huge fan following, and Season 2 has kept everyone hooked. The season is split into two parts. Part 1 got rave reviews, and Part 2 is finally coming out on September 3, 2025. Part 1 ended with Wednesday being thrown from the upstairs of Willow Hill. Her ex-boyfriend Hyde, also known as Tyler, had just been unlocked from his shell, leaving fans wondering if he was the one who did it. But the story might not be that simple.
Season 2 focuses on a murder mystery at Nevermore Academy, caused by the one-eyed crows. Wednesday also receives a prophecy saying her roommate Enid will be killed, and that she will be responsible. She believes this is connected to Willow Hill, an asylum for outcasts. She discovers a secret hall where many outcasts are locked in the basement. By the end of Part 1, Hyde and other creatures are freed, and Wednesday and Tyler come face-to-face before she is thrown out and covered in blood.
Fans are debating whether Tyler really threw her out or if someone else is behind it. There are many theories, and several mysteries remain, like Tyler’s real mother, Wednesday’s aunt, Slurp turning more human after eating brains, and secrets about LOIS, a secret experimental place for outcasts. Part 2 will have four episodes: Let Me Woe You Again, The Final Woe Down Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
Lady Gaga will make a cameo, and Gwendoline Christie returns as Larissa Weems, Wednesday’s spirit guide. Co-creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said the final episodes will reveal darker secrets and twists that will even shock Wednesday herself.
Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 releases today, September 3, 2025. In India, it will be available from 12:30 pm onwards, while release times in other countries may vary. It can be streamed on Netflix. Fans can also look forward to a Season 3, so the story is far from over.
