Despite recent speculation about a fallout between Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood, it seems the two actors are still professionally connected and may even be working together soon. The rumors of tension began when fans noticed both actors unfollowed each other on Instagram following the season 3 finale of The White Lotus. This led to speculation about a potential feud between them.

However, entertainment journalist Elizabeth Wagmeister shared some insight during the April 17 episode of The Viall Files podcast, revealing that there are upcoming professional projects that would bring both actors together. She noted, “The only thing that I will say, I was told this off the record, but there is something professionally that they are doing in the coming weeks together.” Wagmeister suggested that while there might be some tension, it hasn’t prevented them from continuing to work together, mentioning that there is “something on the books” for both.

This work-related appearance may involve both actors attending events related to the Emmy campaign for The White Lotus, as the show is expected to receive several nominations. According to Wagmeister, since many of the cast members, including Goggins and Wood, are likely to be nominated, they will have to appear together for promotional and campaign events.

Wagmeister emphasized that she had no confirmation of any serious conflict between Goggins and Wood but reiterated that a joint appearance is anticipated soon.

The speculation surrounding the actors’ relationship intensified after Goggins supported a controversial Saturday Night Live skit called The White Potus, which parodied The White Lotus but replaced most of the characters with Donald Trump and his inner circle, with the exception of Wood’s character, Chelsea. While Goggins praised the skit on Instagram, calling it “amazing,” Wood criticized it as “mean and unfunny.” This difference in reaction seemed to fuel the rumors about their relationship.

Despite the drama surrounding the SNL skit and the social media unfollowing, it appears that the two are professionally aligned and will likely cross paths in the near future.
