Charlie Cox, the actor synonymous with Netflix’s Daredevil and the current MCU vigilante series Daredevil: Born Again, recently shared his thoughts on the Marvel show’s fifth episode.
In an interview with The Playlist, Cox revealed that the episode titled With Interest—which features the introduction of Kamala Khan’s father and includes a tense bank robbery scene—was his least favorite. The episode was part of the original shoot before the writers’ strike and remained unchanged throughout production.
“I dunno if this is of interest, but I will say this amongst all of this, there was one episode we didn’t change at all,” Cox said. “We shot that before the strike. That was part of the original [draft], and just for my money, I wasn’t into it.”
In With Interest, Cox’s Daredevil uses his heightened hearing to thwart a bank robbery, putting himself at risk to protect civilians.
The show has been widely praised and recently renewed for a second season. It stars Cox alongside Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as Kingpin, and features familiar Netflix Daredevil faces like Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye. Fans were also thrilled to see Jon Bernthal return as The Punisher. The new season welcomes additions including Margarita Levieva, the late Kamar de los Reyes, Michael Gandolfini, and Clark Johnson.
