Wednesday is back, and fans have plenty to binge. Netflix just released Wednesday Season 2, Part 1 on Wednesday, August 6, giving viewers the first four episodes of the Emmy-winning series. It’s been almost three years since the hit show first premiered in November 2022, so the return has been highly anticipated.

Jenna Ortega once again steps into the role of Wednesday Addams, the sharp and brooding teen navigating life at the eerie Nevermore Academy. This season picks up with a brand-new mystery for her to unravel, all while she tries to balance her offbeat social life in true Wednesday fashion.

For those already speeding through the new episodes, Netflix has confirmed that Part 2 of Season 2 will drop on Tuesday, September 3 at 3 a.m. ET. Like Part 1, it will include four episodes, bringing the full season to eight. The premiere of Part 1, titled Here We Woe Again, kicks off the darker and quirkier twists fans have come to expect, with the second half promising even bigger reveals and setups for what’s ahead.

Most of the original cast is back, with Jenna Ortega leading the way. Catherine Zeta-Jones returns as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Isaac Ordoñez as Pugsley, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Deputy Santiago, Jamie McShane as Sheriff Galpin, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.

Season 2 also brings in new faces. Lady Gaga joins as Rosaline Rotwood, a Nevermore teacher with secrets of her own. Haley Joel Osment plays Kansas City Scalper, a chilling new serial killer, while Joanna Lumley steps in as Grandma Hester Frump. Other additions include Steve Buscemi, Anthony Michael Hall, Billie Piper, Thandiwe Newton, Christopher Lloyd, and Evie Templeton, though Netflix is keeping their roles under wraps for now.

Just like the first season, Season 2 blends gothic mystery, dark humor, and plenty of creepy charm. With Golden Globe nominations under its belt and a global fanbase still growing, Wednesday shows no signs of losing momentum.

The first half of Season 2 is now streaming exclusively on Netflix, with Part 2 arriving on September 3 at 3 a.m. ET.
