Raji: Kaliyuga is the next chapter in the Raji series, following up on the story from Raji: An Ancient Epic. This time, the game is switching things up. Instead of the isometric view from the first game, Raji: Kaliyuga will be a third-person action-adventure. Fans will also get to play as a new character alongside Raji, her brother Darsh, who has his own supernatural powers to control elements, energy, and gravity.
There’s no official release date yet, but the game is expected sometime in late 2026 or early 2027. It will be available on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and even the Nintendo Switch 2. The game will also be on Xbox Game Pass on day one, so players can jump in right away without buying it separately.
The story picks up after the asura warlord Mahabalasura unseals the doors to heaven, throwing all the realms into chaos. Raji and Darsh have to travel through the nine realms, called lokas, to reach the Eternal Summit. The game lets players experience both characters’ perspectives, learning more about their struggles and motivations while battling through the chaos.
With the switch to third-person gameplay and the addition of Darsh as a playable character, Raji: Kaliyuga promises a fresh experience while continuing the story fans loved in the first game.
