On the April 30 episode of Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware, they revealed how they call each other by unusual names. Benny said that while he sometimes calls Selena “Sel,” in his phone, she’s saved under a very unexpected nickname: “Salami.” He explained that this was a sneaky way to keep their conversations private—he didn’t want anyone peeking over his shoulder and realizing he was texting Selena. So, he chose a name no one would guess and has stuck with it ever since.
Selena, on the other hand, sticks to more classic pet names like “babe,” “love,” and “honey” when talking to Benny.
Besides the cute nicknames, the couple also gave some hints about their upcoming wedding. Although they haven’t shared a date yet, they mentioned wanting to swap some traditional wedding customs for things that feel more personal and meaningful to them.
Selena also reflected on her past dating life, admitting that before meeting Benny, she spent almost five years without any serious or emotionally fulfilling relationships. Most of her earlier dates were underwhelming and didn’t really spark anything deep.
Meeting Benny changed all that. She described their first kiss as something truly special—so much so that she got nervous enough to break out in a rash!
They made their relationship official in December 2023, after months of keeping things low-key. Both say their first date was the moment they felt the connection, even if they weren’t ready to admit it then. Now, with wedding plans in the works and their love growing stronger every day, Benny and Selena seem ready to take the next big step together.
