Suguru Geto, once known by that name, has undergone a transformation and is now recognized as Pseudo-Geto, or Kenjaku, in the complex world of Jujutsu Kaisen. As a special-grade sorcerer, his impact on the anime is undeniable, with an innate technique called “curse spirit manipulation.” This ability grants him the power to absorb curses through ingestion, effectively gaining control over them. In the past, Suguru Geto stood side by side with Satoru Gojo as one of “the strongest” during their time at Jujutsu High. However, the harsh realities surrounding him turned him into a sworn enemy of the Jujutsu world.

With an explicit goal of eradicating curses and creating a world where they no longer exist, Suguru Geto aimed to achieve this by eliminating every non-sorcerer in existence. Despite being a formidable force, he met his demise at the hands of Yuta Okkotsu, only to be further sealed by Satoru Gojo. However, his unexpected “revival” in the aftermath of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has stirred the fanbase, signaling that the story is about to take an intriguing turn.

Pseudo-Geto’s true identity is revealed after the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. It turns out that Suguru Geto survived his apparent demise and allied with the disaster curses to pursue their shared objective. However, he is no longer Suguru Geto in the way fans knew him. Instead, his corpse becomes a vessel for a thousand-year-old sorcerer’s brain named Kenjaku. Kenjaku possesses the unique ability to hop from one body to another, effectively evading death and achieving a form of immortality. While the specifics of whether the host body must be deceased before possession remain unclear, Kenjaku’s goals diverge from Suguru Geto’s original intentions.

Kenjaku, having witnessed over a thousand years of Jujutsu sorcery, aims to revive the golden age of Jujutsu that existed during the Heian Era, also known as the Golden Age of Jujutsu. He holds a profound connection to Tengen and Ryomen Sukuna, having known them during their human days and even befriending Tengen. Kenjaku envisions a chaotic world, believing that under the right conditions, humanity will evolve and possibly surpass the golden age of Jujutsu.

To fulfill this vision, Kenjaku plans to collect Tengen for himself and merge with them. The ensuing event, known as “The Culling Games,” is a battle royale involving over a thousand sorcerers from various eras, orchestrated by Kenjaku’s manipulation of time. Through binding vows with powerful Jujutsu sorcerers from previous eras, he promises them the opportunity to engage in battles against formidable opponents. The ultimate goal of “The Culling Games” is to blanket the entirety of Japan with cursed energy. Even Kenjaku himself is uncertain about the consequences, but he is convinced that only the strongest of the strong sorcerers will survive.

As the narrative unfolds, it becomes evident that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is poised to catapult viewers over the edge of a colossal cliff, promising a continuation of the gripping and unpredictable storyline.
