What Does Prince Harry Think of Wife Meghan Markle Using Their Kids To Promote Her Brand?

It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t exactly in sync when it comes to using their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in relation to Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. According to Matt Wilkinson, a royal editor at The Sun, the couple doesn’t see eye to eye on sharing photos of their kids on social media. Wilkinson discussed this on A Right Royal Podcast last Friday, revealing that Harry, in particular, is more protective when it comes to his children’s privacy.

Wilkinson explained that Harry has expressed a preference for keeping their children out of the spotlight, saying, “My understanding is that up to a certain stage, Harry would much rather his children were not seen.” He added that Harry worries about the paparazzi, particularly when they step outside of their Montecito home, fearing a swarm of photographers trying to snap photos of their kids.

On the other hand, Meghan, who grew up in California, seems to embrace a more relaxed, “California-style” approach to parenting. According to Wilkinson, Meghan enjoys taking the kids to the beach and engaging in other outdoor activities, and she’s less inclined to “hide” them away from the public eye. While she reportedly avoids showing her children’s faces, Wilkinson suggested that Meghan still uses them to promote her “homemaker” and “mom” brand.

Wilkinson also speculated that Harry isn’t entirely on board with Meghan’s approach, claiming that he’s probably “not overly happy” with the way she handles their children’s public image.

As for Meghan’s other recent project, With Love, Meghan, her kids haven’t made any appearances. However, Harry did make a brief cameo in the much-talked-about show, which has generated plenty of buzz.
