The internet is full of videos claiming to show aliens or strange creatures, especially on TikTok. Most of these turn out to be fake, but some are so convincing that it’s easy to believe they might be real.
Recently, a TikTok user named “kinpanama” went viral with a series of videos showing what he claims is a new form of life, possibly from another world. The story starts with footage of a small, shriveled object that looks a bit like a potato. Kinpanama says it’s a meteorite that fell in Pedregal, Panama. The video, which has over a million views, shows him poking the object with a stick.
Later videos show the meteorite apparently giving off heat. Then, just over a week after the first clip, something begins to grow out of it. The growth seems to move slightly, and it quickly becomes more unusual.
Kinpanama documents the entire process, showing the organism changing and darkening. Black tentacles appear across its body, giving it a look similar to the Venom symbiote from movies. Despite its strange appearance, the creature mostly stays still. In more recent clips, the organism has been moved to a larger container because it has grown so fast.
TikTok users have speculated about what it could be. Some linked it to biblical wormwood, a star that falls and poisons water in the Third Trumpet judgment. Kinpanama eventually released the creature, which he named K25, into the murky waters of an abandoned military bunker. Some viewers worried this could make the water toxic if the wormwood theories were true.
Even though the videos are creative and entertaining, there’s strong evidence they are not real. The Metropolitan Natural Park in Panama confirmed that no such creature exists in the area where Kinpanama claimed to have released K25. This is likely another clever hoax, similar to many viral alien or monster videos seen before.
Still, Kinpanama deserves credit for creativity. The videos captured people’s imaginations and sparked discussion, and they show a talent for storytelling and practical effects. Some viewers joked about government inaction, while others were fully convinced the creature might be real. Whether real or not, it’s clear the videos left a strong impression.
