Trump was spotted in the stands at Acrisure Stadium, where he was filmed by his deputy director of communications, Margo Martin, amid a crowd of enthusiastic supporters chanting “USA.” Despite this attention, the former president was only shown on television for a few seconds during the broadcast, specifically near the end of the first quarter. This brief appearance did little to satisfy his supporters, who noted that Swift often receives extensive airtime during NFL games.
Martin’s footage quickly went viral, sparking a debate on social media about the perceived disparity in coverage. John Le Fevre, a prominent author and commentator, highlighted the issue, tweeting: “On average, NBC shows Taylor Swift seven times during an NFL broadcast. Tonight, they showed Trump only once, and just for a few seconds.”
