Apple Music has named Tyler, The Creator as its Artist of the Year for 2025. This makes him the third person to win this award, following Billie Eilish in 2024 and Taylor Swift in 2023. Apple said Tyler had his biggest year ever, with fans around the world listening for over 4.5 billion minutes between November 2024 and October 2025.
The award isn’t just a title. It also comes with a physical trophy that has an Apple custom silicon wafer between glass and aluminium. Fans can also listen to Tyler’s music through the Artist of the Year 2025 playlist on Apple Music.
Along with the award, Apple Music released its ‘Best of 2025’ playlists. These playlists feature the most streamed and viral songs of the year, curated by Apple’s editors. You can find them under the New tab in the Apple Music app.
Apple Music will also release its annual Replay feature in December, which is like Spotify Wrapped, showing listeners their top songs and stats from the year. Earlier this year, in July, the service celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special rewind playlist for long-term users.
