BTS and their juniors at BigHit Music, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), have always shared a close bond. Since TXT debuted in 2019, BTS has praised them, and the respect has gone both ways. For a new variety show, Idol Festa Attack, TXT was tasked with selling zucchinis to fans and inviting them to a guerrilla-style concert in Gwangju, J-Hope’s hometown. Soobin, the leader of TXT, reached out to J-Hope for advice on convincing people to attend, and the BTS member’s reply had viewers laughing.

On Mnet’s YouTube series, TXT tried to sell tickets in the form of zucchinis to unsuspecting locals. The unusual challenge surprised and amused both the team and the citizens. Behind the scenes, Soobin called J-Hope for tips. As soon as J-Hope answered, his caller tune played his song Killin’ It Girl, setting a cheerful tone. Soobin asked how to win over the people of Gwangju, and J-Hope spoke warmly about the city, its kind-hearted residents, and delicious traditional food. He reminded Soobin that “J-Hope is the pride of Gwangju,” which the younger star wholeheartedly agreed with.

A funny moment came when Soobin asked if it was okay to “sell” J-Hope to the citizens to promote the event. Without hesitation, J-Hope said, “You can sell me however you want,” making Soobin laugh. He also taught Soobin some local dialect, promised to buy some zucchinis at 990 KRW, and offered encouraging words for the five boys as they prepared for their guerrilla concert.
