Donald Trump has revealed a new foreign policy idea called the Board of Peace for Gaza. On paper, it sounds serious. In reality, many see it as deeply ironic. The people invited make it look less like a peace effort and more like a gathering of global controversies.
The board is meant to guide ceasefire talks and rebuilding efforts in Gaza. But there is a strange detail. Gaza is not even mentioned in the board’s charter. That alone raised eyebrows. What followed made things worse.
Trump’s Board of Peace faces Global mockery
Trump’s chosen members quickly sparked backlash. One of them is Vladimir Putin. He is accused of war crimes and faces international sanctions. Another is Benjamin Netanyahu. His name alone explains the outrage. Tony Blair is also on the list. He played a major role in the Iraq War.
The board also includes billionaire donors and former CEOs. None of them has a background in peace work or humanitarian aid. Not a single Palestinian leader was invited. No Arab state representatives are included. No Muslim majority country connected to Gaza has a seat.

Trump’s conditions turn the Board into a power play
Confusion disappeared once Trump’s conditions became public. Every member must pay $1 billion to join permanently. Trump alone holds veto power over all decisions.
Members can only serve for 3 years unless they hand over another $1 billion in cash during the first year. And the biggest shock came last. Trump plans to be chairman for life. Not just during his presidency. For life.
