Star Wars enthusiasts often delve deep into the minutiae of the saga, finding fascination in even the most seemingly inconsequential details. One such detail that sparked both intrigue and controversy among fans was Luke Skywalker’s unconventional beverage choice: the green milk he slurped from an otherworldly creature in the sequel trilogy.
However, long before Luke was sipping on green milk, he was depicted enjoying a refreshing glass of blue milk with his Aunt and Uncle on the desert planet of Tatooine. Now, thanks to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, fans can experience their own taste of this iconic beverage variation, with a twist: blue milk with cereal, perfect for starting the day on a galactic note.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. In celebration of May the 4th, Disney Consumer Products and Lucasfilm are teaming up to bring fans a real-world version of blue milk. Known as TruMoo Blue Milk, this product is made from 1% low-fat cow’s milk, infused with natural vanilla flavoring and a vibrant blue hue, promising a truly out-of-this-world taste experience for the whole family.
Scheduled for release on April 17th, 2024, TruMoo Blue Milk will soon be available in grocery stores nationwide. However, fans should be patient, as it may take some time for the product to appear on shelves across the country.
Interestingly, Mark Hamill, the actor behind Luke Skywalker, had some memorable insights into the behind-the-scenes production of blue milk. Recalling his initial experience with the beverage during filming in North Africa, Hamill described it as “ghastly,” with an oily and overly sweet taste that triggered his gag reflex. However, despite his initial aversion, Hamill later expressed a preference for the smoother flavors of the green milk featured in “The Last Jedi,” indicating a significant improvement in the taste department since his early encounters with blue milk.
As fans eagerly anticipate the release of TruMoo Blue Milk, they can look forward to savoring a taste of the Star Wars universe right in their own homes, adding a touch of intergalactic delight to their everyday routines.
