Tron: Ares brought one of the most loved movie franchises back to the big screen this year. The movie looked great and worked well on its own while connecting to the older Tron films. However, it did not do very well at the box office. Many people skipped it in theaters. If you were one of them, there is good news.

Tron: Ares will be available to rent or buy from December 2, 2025. You can find it on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. If you prefer physical copies, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD will come out on January 6, 2026.

The digital release is earlier than usual for a Disney movie. This is mostly because it didn’t perform as expected in theaters. So now is your chance to watch it without going to the cinema.

There is no official streaming date for Disney+ yet. But since it will be out on digital and Blu-ray early, it could come to Disney+ by March 2026. This is not confirmed, though.

Tron: Ares is not really a direct sequel to the earlier movies. Some fans were disappointed for that reason. Despite the box office results, the movie is well made. Jared Leto gives one of his best performances here. Don’t let other people’s opinions stop you from checking it out when it becomes available on December 2, 2025.
